If you are reading this post chances are that you’re looking for a good massage therapist. Today, there are lots of massage therapists out there and not all of them are good at what they are doing. As a result, finding the best one can be challenging.
To help you, in this article, we have compiled some proven tips for finding a good massage therapist for you.
Tip #1: Read Massage Therapist Writings
Usually, most massage therapists who are in private practice have brochures describing the kind of massage they perform as well as their philosophy and experience.
You can see these writings in naturopathic or chiropractor offices. And if you like what you see, don’t hesitate to ask them.
Tip #2: Ask for a referral
Obtaining recommendations for a massage therapist from your friends or loved ones is a good idea. As a matter of fact, you can even ask the massage therapist for recommendations if he/she doesn’t do the kind of spa you are looking for or if they are moving.
Nevertheless, if you are local, some therapists may even have private practices at cheaper rates.
Tip #3: Know your goals and health status
When looking for a massage therapist, you need to set your goals for your massage sessions. Are you concerned about reducing muscle tightness and stress, improving your overall wellbeing and health, or living without acute or chronic pain? Aside from that, you will also need to think about why you need massage therapists.
Keep in mind that your answers to these queries can help you in identifying what skills you are looking for in a therapist.
Tip #4: Give the massage therapist a try
Another way to find out whether a massage therapist is right for you or not is to book a session and give it a try.
However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to undergo a full massage term. Try asking the therapist if you can book a half an hour session to begin. If you like their work, you can extend the treatment.
Also, you can ask the therapists if they can schedule when they have an opening to ensure that it might work out. You can supplement your massage with nutrients. Though some massage therapists will not agree with this, you should still give it a try because there is a little possibility that they will agree.
In addition to the four tips mentioned above you should also consider the experience of the massage therapist. As a piece of advice, look for a massage therapist that has at least 5 years of experience.

Hot stone, deep tissue, aromatherapy, reflexology, Swedish; there are so many different types of massages. Each type offers specific benefits, but the ultimate goal is the same: relaxation.
While it’s certainly true that all forms of massage soothe sore muscles, increase blood flow, and promote relaxation, if you really want to ramp up all of these benefits, there’s one form of massage therapy that you should consider trying: CBD-infused.
What’s a CBD massage and why should you consider getting one? Read on to learn more about how you can find your way to total Zen with a CBD-infused massage.
A CBD massage is, as the name suggests, a form of massage therapy that incorporates CBD oil. By now, there’s no doubt you’ve heard about CBD; it’s virtually everywhere!
But what is CBD? – It’s cannabidiol, one of the more than 104 chemical compounds of the cannabis plant; more commonly known as marijuana. These chemical compounds are formally referred to as cannabinoids, something that every single plant contains. The cannabinoid that is most commonly associated with the cannabis plant is tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC; it’s what creates that psychoactive “high” feeling when the plant is ingested or inhaled. CBD, however, does not have a psychoactive effect; in fact, it isn’t mind-altering in any way. Instead, CBD has anti-inflammatory properties that have been found to offer a myriad of benefits, including pain reduction, anxiety relief; among others.
Basically, it works like Swedish, reflexology, or any other type of massage you would get. The difference is in the oil; standard massage oil is replaced with CBD oil. As a massage therapist works on those stiff areas and knots, the CBD oil will be rubbed into your skin, muscles, and joints.
You can expect some of the same benefits as a standard massage, only they’ll be more intense. For example, your sore muscles and aches and pains will be relieved to an even higher degree. You’ll also feel more relaxed. That’s because CBD oil has been proven to reduce inflammation, ease chronic pain, and even relieve anxiety. On top of those benefits, a CBD massage will also improve the health of your skin, making it more lustrous and possibly even more taught, as it’s believed the cannabinoid reduces the signs of aging; it can help to minimize the appearance of blemishes, too!
If you want to take your relaxation to the next level – and reap a number of other benefits – treat yourself to a CBD massage.

Take advantages of our fabulous 60 minute Hot Stone Therapy with our organic coconut oil.
Hot stone massage is a natural therapy in which warmed stones are positioned on parts of the client’s body of to maximize the therapeutic benefit.
The stones used are smooth surfaced river basalt stones and are heated in a professional sanitized water warmer before use.
The high iron content in basalt helps the stones retain heat during the massage.
Hot stone massages are beneficial on both physical and psychological levels.
The heat from the stones helps your muscles relax, allowing the massage therapist to manipulate your deep tissues more effectively.
Overly tense muscles can hinder the massage procedure, so if your muscles are extremely tight or stiff, the heated stones may provide the extra relaxation you need for the massage to be beneficial in releasing tension and easing sore muscles.
We use extra virgin coconut oil or a rich vegan body cream.
